Kathy of Maynardville, TN called Master Dry after noticing some foundational issues occurring in her basement. Her floors appeared to be sagging and warping. Led by sales representative David Kerr, the free inspection revealed that there was a serious structural problem that would cause additional damage in the long run as well issues such as mold growth and safety.
Kathy decided to go through with the crawl space renovation. The team, led by foreman Josh Sulfridge, installed four SmartJack Crawl Space Stabilizers, which are adjustable, steel support posts with a concrete base set on compacted stone. Other companies use wood posts, which could rot or shift. The stabilizers are also coated with a thick, protective zinc coating to prevent rusting or decay. Kathy’s floor stopped settling and was raised to the proper, safe level. The team also installed two 2x6 supplemental triple-beams to better support the crawlspace and ensure it was a long-term solution with no further upkeep on Kathy's behalf.
Kathy was thrilled to no longer have to worry about her drooping floors and the problems that had caused it. She was rest assured that Master Dry had handled the situation for good. Do you have a similar problem with sinking, unsettling floors? Give Master Dry a call for a free inspection and estimate so maybe we can help you just like we helped Kathy!
