We use slab jacking or mudjacking for smaller jobs such as leveling sidewalks, patios, driveways, and pool decks. Precise holes are drilled into your slab. Then a specialized mortar-like grout or "mud" is pumped, under pressure, to raise and level your slab. The holes are filled with concrete and troweled smooth. Most jobs can be completed in one day. For larger jobs we use slab piers. These can be used to correct large sections of concrete such as warehouse slabs. Call us today to learn more.
Nancy N. called Master Dry to find out what she could do about the unlevel floors of her Rockwood, TN home. She had noticed that the floors in her bedroom and hall closet were not level and that some sections of the floor were bowing.
After receiving her call, sales representative Josh Sulfridge visited her home to conduct an inspection of the area and decide what the next step in solving the problem should be. On his recommendations, work was begun with a crew led by foreman Tyler Smith. In the home, the crew replaced beams that were no longer supporting the home in the proper way. They also added 10 SmartJacks which are support posts intended to provide immediate support to sagging floors and stablize the home to protect against future sagging.
Nancy was incredibly satisfied with the job done and was happy to know that her home was back in good shape and was protected against any foundation sinking in the future.
A couple in Oliver Springs wanted a clean, pleasant basement. They did not want intrusive waterproofing solutions, but would rather have them out of sight and out of mind. They called Master Dry for a free inspection, which was led by Nick Hodak. Nick decided the best course of action for the couple's specific needs and gave them an estimate of how much the solution would cost.
The team continued with the project by initially installing a WaterGuard Drainage System, which is designed to draw in the water accumulation from the walls and capture leaks between where the floor and wall meet. This drainage system is fast, easy, durable, and affordable. This interior system is clean and nonintrusive, which can replace the hassle of expensive, large exterior drainage systems. With its sturdy plastic makeup, it will never decay or diminish in quality.
The team then installed a TripleSafe Sump Pump which serves three seperate functions: pumping volumes up to 2600 gallons of water per hour, backing up the first pump fails and can pump up to 6200 gallons per hour, and then including a battery-powered pump to run instantly if there is a power outage or disruption, which the power to pump 11,000 gallons. This sump pump is reliable, quiet, clean, and pleasing to the eye.
To further develop the basement space and make it a nonintrusive, upkeep-free, and a long-term solution, the team installed a CleanSpace Wall. This wall system involves a thick white poly material to cover the surface area of the walls. This repair is inexpensive, waterproof, maintenance-free, and resistant to stains.
The couple was pleased to no longer worry about their basement issues. If you have a similar wish for your basement, give Master Dry a call and see how we can cater our services to best meet your individual project needs!
