Terry and Cherl L. of Winfield, TN decided they were interested in waterproofing their basement as part of a remodel project they were doing on their home. They weren't quite sure how to begin, however, so they called Master Dry to find out what options were available to them.
Once they made the call to Master Dry, sales representative Bobby Ewing went out to conduct and inspection and decide exactly what needed to be done. During the inspection, Bobby found some issues with existing beams in the basement which has been damaged by moisture and needed to be replaced in addition to the waterproofing service. Work began shortly after the inspection by a crew headed up by foreman Michael Geasland. They began by installing new supplemental beams and SmartJacks to keep those beams from sagging in the future. Then they got to work on the waterproofing portion of the project, installing WaterGuard, a drainage piping system, as well as a SuperSump pump to control any water that might exist in the basement.
All in all, there was a lot more work involved than anyone expected in the beginning, but the family was very happy to know that they had caught the damage early before more serious damage occurred. They were also delighted to know that their home was protected for the future.
