|Why Choose Us?
Foundation problems destroy your Butler home’s value and can be dangerous. Our in-house team of structural and geo-technical engineers are here to help. We design and install the right foundation repair solution and usually have the project finished in less than a week.
The sunken and cracked concrete around your Butler home is both an eyesore and a safety hazard. It is also likely to get worse, but we can fix it for you.
We use slab jacking or mudjacking for smaller jobs such as leveling sidewalks, patios, driveways, and pool decks. Precise holes are drilled into your slab. Then a specialized mortar-like grout or "mud" is pumped, under pressure, to raise and level your slab. The holes are filled with concrete and troweled smooth. Most jobs can be completed in one day. For larger jobs we use slab piers. These can be used to correct large sections of concrete such as warehouse slabs. Before calling Master Dry, Teresa S. began noticing a musty smell in her home and believed it to be originating in her crawlspace. She had a make-shift vapor barrier in place at the time, but was still noticing moisture and mold beginning to grow on some items that had been stored in the space. Teresa realized that the issue was too large for her to continue dealing with on her own, so she turned to Master Dry to solve the problem.
Sales representative, Mike Wells went out to the home to conduct and inspection. During his inspection, Mike noticed that mold and moisture that Teresa had noticed, and also found a couple of other fairly significant issues that needed to be addressed by the Master Dry team. Mike discussed the options with Teresa and they came up with a course of action to begin work on the home. Soon after, a crew led by Nick Crozier began work on the crawlspace. To deal with the mold and moisture problem, they installed a CleanSpace SmartDrain and Drainage Matting to deal with the water and moisture in the crawlspace that had allowed mold to thrive. They also installed a Santa Fe dehumidifier to aid in removing the mold. Finally, they put in 4 wrap piers, since during the inspection it had been discovered that the foundation of the home needed to be reinforced.
Teresa was thrilled to know that the mold issue in her home and been solved and that Master Dry had saved her home from future damage by catching the foundation issue early. Give Master Dry a call – they can help you out too!
