I have recently moved into Steeplechase, and have had a lot of difficulty with my asthma that I have not experienced in years. My daughter's room has a spot on the ceiling that looks like it could possibly be mold building up. There is another spot right about her headboard. When Steeplechase set up an appointment to fix it, their maintenance man simply spray painted over the spot in the ceiling.

Not sure how extensive the damage is and if it is in the foundation in the crawl space..we have a 5 year old who has been sick from the minute we brought him home as a newborn.. MASTER DRY!!! During the storm in March of 2011, my finished basement flooded with 2" of water. I had thousands of dollars in furniture, carpet, and drywall. I called 3 water-proofing companies for estimates. After Jonathan from Master Dry showed up, I knew with-in 5 mins he was going to do the job for me. His knowledge of the Master Dry system and how it worked was very impressive. I think, he even knew more about the other companies system than their sales reps. The installation crew was on-time, courtious, and very professional also. What impressed me the most was that my basement was cleaner after they finished, then it was before they got started. I do not know how they got it that clean after 6 hours of Jack-Hammering concert and then replacing it. Great Company, Great Crew here in Knoxville, and a Great Value.

Master Dry's friendly and knowledgeable staff provided excellent communication before, during, and after the job. The work was performed quickly, cleanly, and with attention to detail. Before the encapsulation process, our crawl space was extremely humid, musty-smelling, and had mold growing on the floor joists, even with "good ventilation". The A/C ductwork had condensation all over it during the summer months, creating puddles of standing water on the vapor barrier. Enter Master Dry: Our crawl space has been transformed from a cold, damp, humid, mold factory to a clean, dry, healthy environment. No more musty smells or mold growth. The crawl space has stayed around 60ÃÂ°F and 50% humidity, even after torrential rains and outdoor temperatures ranging from 90ÃÂ°F down to 10ÃÂ°F. Highly recommended - do the research, and you'll understand why vented crawl spaces don't make sense. Fully encapsulated crawl spaces are the way to go, and Master Dry did an excellent job for us.

I am well pleased with your work. The only complaint I have is that the purchase and installation of the crawl space door was too expensive. Unless I am missing something, the materials and job should not be that expensive. I am a bit concerned that the placement of the dehumidifier at the corner of the crawl space may not be adequately cover the opposite side of the house. I will follow this and see. Thank you

Overall I am very satisfied with my service from Master Dry. Your people were professional, courteous & patient from the 1st call to the final walk through. While I have greater confidence in your system than others I’ve had in the past, there were a few points that I found frustrating. 1) I was disappointed to find out that I will have to patch the exterior holes in my foundation myself. I pointed all of them out to my salesman as they were one of my primary concerns & biggest reasons for calling you. The install boss had to tell me that you don’t do that. 2) Your book/sales people need to be updated to clarify or remove items that are not used or carried anymore in this area. I was happy that I wouldn’t have to tear up landscaping to accommodate the door featured in the book though. Again this conversation was had with the installer at the end of the job & I was refunded accordingly. 3) After discussing 2 possible discharge tie in points previous to service, the crew still had to go out to purchase the appropriate connectors.

Although the crew were very thorough in the tasks they completed, it was very frustrating in the fact that the job was supposed to take 2 days and it took a total of about 4...the 3rd day being a Sunday in which only 2 men were sent to work and I believe the job could've been done that day had more men been sent to work. Also, it was very frustrating that half way through the job a MasterDry employee "Curtis" (not sure his title) had to come to the job site and explain to us that we would need to purchase another sump pump at an additional $900 in order for the system to work properly. I felt as though I had no choice but to get the 2nd sump pump in order to finish the job...I really wish that the need of a 2nd sump pump would've been discovered by the salesman when he came out to quote the job. Also, I ordered a humidity checker on my order which added $30 to my total and I have not received it. Andy, the foreman, forgot to give it to me and I called him 2 days ago and he said that he would get it to me this week and tomorrow is Thursday and I still do not have it. I guess I should call the office to be sure that I receive this.
